Sacred Rhythm Yoga Retreat in the San Juan Islands, Washington, October 2025

Step Into Fall Fully Nourished

Restorative yoga. Warm Ayurvedic meals. Rainy hikes. Cozy connection.
This is your soft landing for the season ahead.

Looking for a peaceful, nourishing yoga retreat to reset this Fall? The Sacred Rhythm Yoga Retreat in Washington’s San Juan Islands is your invitation to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and fully align with the rhythm of the season. This all-inclusive women’s wellness retreat is designed to help you transition into Fall with clarity, calm, and care.

You’ll be surrounded by the misty beauty of the Pacific Northwest, practicing restorative yoga, enjoying warm nourishing meals, walking forest trails, and connecting with a like-hearted community — all while letting go of burnout and stress.

This is a yoga retreat for women ready to land softly, rest deeply, and nourish their bodies and nervous systems.

The San Juan Island yoga retreat in the PNW is kept intentionally small so you can be truly seen. Gather in circle, breathe into restoration, and savor personalized care in an experience designed for your nervous system and soul. Spaces are limited: listen to your body if it’s saying ‘I need this’, we’ve got a spot for you.

Join the Ambuja Yoga community and your host, Autumn Adams, in Friday Harbor, Washington, October 23–26, 2025, for a retreat that feels like a deep exhale. With gentle yoga, nourishing seasonal meals, and cozy fireside conversations, this weekend was made to help you slow down, feel truly cared for, and share space with women who are craving the same.

Does this sound familiar?
You’ve been running on empty for a while now.

And it’s starting to show — not just in your body, but in your spirit.

You’ve been the steady one. The strong one.
Always showing up, holding space, keeping the pieces together.

But under the surface?
You’re craving a break. Not a vacation. Not a checklist of self-care. Just space to be with yourself — in a way that feels honest. Unrushed. Nourishing.

And if you’re honest… you’re tired of putting it off.
Of saying “maybe next season” or “when things slow down.”

The Sacred Rhythm Retreat isn’t about fixing anything.
It’s about coming back to what’s already here — your breath, your body, your knowing. It’s cozy and quiet and exactly what your nervous system has been asking for.

A few days on the island.
Warming food. Chai in your hands. Gentle movement. Rest that doesn’t require you to earn it.

Small group. Big exhale.

You don’t need to be anyone here. Just you.
Exactly as you are.

You drive off the ferry and into stillness. The road curves through evergreens, and the quiet hum of island life greets you like an old friend.

You’ve arrived — not just on San Juan Island, but in a space that’s been calling you back to yourself.

Every detail has been thoughtfully handled, and every cell in your body sighs with relief, knowing all you have to do this week is show up for yourself.

Mornings start slow.
Maybe there’s a soft rain outside.
You wrap your hands around a warm mug, breathe in the scent of chai, and feel your shoulders drop.

There’s no rush here.

You move through gentle yoga and grounding breathwork.
You walk quiet forest trails lined with golden leaves.
You share meals that warm your belly and calm your nervous system.
And slowly — without trying — you start to feel yourself return.

Each workshop, each moment by the fire, each conversation with a woman beside you brings clarity.
Not the forced kind — but the kind that rises when you’re finally still enough to hear it.

By the time you leave, you feel lighter. Clearer.
Not because everything in your life has changed — but because you have.
You remember how to listen.
How to rest.
How to honor what you need — without guilt.

This is the shift waiting for you at The Sacred Rhythm Retreat

Are you ready to choose yourself — gently, fully, and without apology?

Join us this October in Friday Harbor and let the island, the circle, and the season hold you as you reconnect with the rhythm of your own life.

You are whole. You are worthy of rest. You are already everything you’ve been searching for.

Your Island Retreat in the Pacific Northwest

The ferry docks and you roll off slowly, gravel crunching under your tires, evergreens rising all around you. There’s a shift you can’t quite name, but you feel it. Your shoulders drop a little. You breathe deeper.

San Juan Island meets you with misty mornings, salty air, and the kind of quiet that settles into your bones. The water moves at its own pace. So do the people. It’s calm here — not curated, just natural.

Our retreat, just outside of Friday Harbor effortlessly tucks into this rhythm. Cozy cabins. Communal meals. Space to stretch, move, rest. You wake with the soft light, sip something warm, and settle into practices that meet you exactly where you are.

You hike a little. You write. You laugh. You’re not “keeping up”. You’re not fixing. You’re just here.

And somehow, that’s more than enough.

What Awaits You at the Sacred Rhythm Yoga Retreat in the San Juan Islands?

Root + Restore: Finding Your Fall Rhythm
Begin the retreat with a grounding workshop to gently transition out of summer’s high energy and into a steadier, more sustainable rhythm. Through breathwork, guided journaling, and personal rhythm mapping rooted in Ayurvedic wisdom, you’ll create a daily flow that supports your energy, body, and mind — both on retreat and once you return home.

Sacred Nourishment: Fall Food, Rituals & Ayurvedic Self-Care
This hands-on workshop offers practical and deeply nurturing tools for the Fall season. You’ll learn how to care for your body through dosha-balancing foods, warming rituals, and nervous system-supportive self-care. Enjoy creating your own kitchari bowl, practice self-oil massage (Abhyanga), and participate in a cozy chai ritual. You’ll leave with a personalized seasonal toolkit to support your wellbeing long after the retreat ends.

Daily Yoga + Meditation
Start each day with gentle, heart-centered movement and accessible breathwork to help you reconnect to your body and soften into the day. These slow, intentional sessions are designed to nourish rather than push — and to bring you home to yourself, one breath at a time.

Yoga Nidra & Sound Healing
In the evenings, you’ll be guided into deep rest through Yoga Nidra, a form of yogic sleep that supports nervous system repair and emotional clarity. Coupled with sound healing, using crystal bowls, chimes, and vibration, these sessions are designed to help you release tension, drop into your body, and experience stillness on a cellular level.

Beach Walks + Forest Hikes
Explore the natural rhythm of the island with walks along rugged beaches and quiet forest trails. These hikes are gentle and intentional — not about distance or effort, but about presence, connection, and grounding into the land around you.

Women’s Circle + Reflection
Throughout the weekend, we’ll gather in sisterhood. Through intention-setting and gentle rituals, you’ll connect with a group of women who are also ready to rest, release, and realign.

Meet Your Host

Autumn Adams

In 2014, Autumn launched Ambuja Yoga, driven by a dream—to weave her love for yoga, travel, and adventure into a tapestry of intention, courage, and grace for her students. Over the past decade, Autumn has orchestrated over 30 transformative retreats empowering women to prioritize themselves and embrace a life brimming with self-love and fulfillment. Each retreat is a magical journey, where attendees depart with a newfound sense of self, purpose, and the ability to imbue their intentions into every facet of their lives.

Autumn’s classes are a delightful blend of her extensive education in dance, Hatha, and Vinyasa Yoga. She crafts dynamic, flowing sessions that gently nudge students to break old habits and explore new boundaries. Her teaching style is light, approachable, and often sprinkled with engaging stories from Hindu mythology or her own life adventures, making each class a unique experience.

What Autumn loves most about yoga is its transformative power—the way it shifts our mindset from “I can’t” to “How can I?” She inspires her students to become conscious creators, urging them to take risks, listen deeply to their bodies, intuition and hearts, and embrace life’s winding path with grace and humor.

Her retreats have been featured in publications like Insider.com, Shape.com, Zappos.com, Asia Spa, Direct Holiday, and Bend Nest.

Outside of yoga, you can find her chasing down her free spirited little boy, hiking in the mountains, or swimming in the sea.

Are you ready to transform your life? NOW is the time to embark on an adventure of self-discovery and empowerment!
