Retreat Highlights
Life has asked a lot of you lately. You’ve shown up. You’ve handled it. You’ve kept going — even when things felt heavy. But now… something in you is calling for space, adventure, something new.
The Rooted and Wild Women’s Yoga Retreat is that space. A space to move, breathe, rest, and reconnect — without expectations, without guilt, and without needing to explain why you need it. It’s five days in the red rocks of Sedona to remember what ease feels like. No fixing. No forcing. Just time for you to be held for once.
Picture yourself sitting up from savasana clear-headed and a little lighter — excited about what you’re calling in for yourself. You step off your mat feeling calm, empowered, and fully alive — back in touch with the vibrant, untamed part of you that’s been quiet for too long.
You share an amazing meal with your fellow yoginis before heading out to explore Sedona’s majestic red rocks, where the world feels expansive, yet you’re deeply grounded in who you are.
At the Rooted & Wild Women’s Yoga and Hiking Retreat, you’ll have the space to breathe, let go, and find harmony between being deeply rooted and wildly free. This retreat is about reconnecting with yourself, remembering your own aliveness, and going home a little more like yourself than when you arrived.
The Ambuja Yoga retreats typically sell out. If this retreat resonates with you, I encourage you to secure your spot today.
What Shifts While You're Here in Sedona
You don’t have to make anything happen. A few days of this rhythm — movement, red rock air, real rest — does most of the work on its own.
- Your nervous system settles. Two practices a day, real sleep, and nothing to manage. By day two, your shoulders are somewhere they haven’t been in a long time.
- Your head goes quiet. Out on the trails with no phone and nowhere to be, the mental noise you’ve been carrying starts to thin out.
- You feel strong again. Hiking the red rocks reminds your body it’s capable — not just busy. There’s a particular confidence that comes from a hard, beautiful climb.
- You get to just be yourself. Somewhere between a shared meal and a long laugh, you stop being everyone’s steady one.
This Retreat Is For You If...
- You need a break: If you feel stressed or close to burnout, this retreat will help you relax and recharge.
- You need self-care: If you've been taking care of others and ignoring yourself, you'll find time and space to take care of your needs.
- You want adventure: If you're tired of your routine and want something new, this retreat offers fun and exciting activities.
- You miss your energy: If you want to feel alive again, our yoga, fresh air, and relaxation practices will make you feel rested and revitalized.
- You want to find yourself: If you've lost yourself in work or family, this retreat will help you rediscover your inner voice and passions.
What Makes This Sedona Yoga Retreat Different?
Sedona has no shortage of yoga retreats. What makes this one different is the balance — real adventure and real rest — and a grounded, down-to-earth approach in a place better known for hype.
A creekside basecamp, not a resort. You’re not in a hotel or a packed retreat center. The Field at Oak Creek sits on its own quiet acres right on the water — secluded enough that your shoulders drop, but only about 25 minutes from Sedona’s trailheads. Out of town when you want stillness, close in when you want the red rocks.
Yoga and hiking — movement that wakes you up. Most Sedona retreats keep you on the mat. This one gets you out on the trails, too. Two daily practices to settle your nervous system, plus real hikes through the red rocks — the kind of movement that reminds your body it’s strong, not just tired.
Sedona without the hype. You’ll get all of Sedona’s beauty without the vortex sales pitch — Autumn teaches yoga grounded in nervous-system science, not woo dressed up as wisdom. Rest first, and let real change follow.
Small group, and everything handled. This is an intimate circle, not a crowd — and from the airport pickup on, you don’t manage a single thing. The food, the schedule, the logistics: handled. For a few days, all you have to do is show up.
Food worth showing up for. Fresh, seasonal meals you didn’t plan, shop for, or cook — shared around one long table. It’s one of the things guests rave about most, and one of the quiet luxuries of being somewhere that takes care of you.
“It was the perfect balance of wellness, adventure, and community.” — Andrea B., Sedona 2026
Sample Daily Rhythm for Your Sedona Yoga Retreat Journey
Subject to flow - we honor the natural rhythm of each day
Arrival and Welcome: From the moment you arrive, you’ll be welcomed into a nurturing, lighthearted, and supportive environment. Feel the stress melt away as you step into the serene landscape of Sedona, surrounded by the stunning red rocks. Our retreat home is located a short drive from downtown Sedona and Cottonwood. It’s the perfect distance to enjoy Sedona’s breathtaking hikes, but with the peace and quiet of being out of town.
The Hikes: Explore Sedona’s red rock trails — some of the most beautiful in the country. Expect wide views, good conversation, and plenty of moments worth stopping for.
Daily Yoga and Meditation: Begin each day with invigorating vinyasa yoga sessions designed to energize and balance your body. Our accessible guided meditations will help you cultivate mindfulness, presence, and clarity. End your day with a gentle, restorative practice to unwind and calm your nervous system.
Sound Healing, Yoga Nidra, and Workshops: Sink into sound healing and yoga nidra — deep, restful practices that settle the nervous system. We love nidra for how completely it lets you rest, and the way it loosens the old patterns you didn’t realize you were holding. The workshops send you home with tools you’ll actually use.
Community and Connection: Share your journey with a supportive community of women. Our group activities and sharing circles create a sense of belonging and mutual support, forming lasting friendships. Each retreat I am continually blown away by the amazing women that join us. Do not hesitate to book a yoga retreat with Autumn and Ambuja Yoga! You deserve this! Dina S AZ"From the moment I arrived, I knew this yoga retreat was something special!" "From the moment I arrived, I knew this yoga retreat was something special! Nestled in a serene, natural setting, it offered the perfect escape from the noise of daily life. Autumn curated a thoughtfully planned schedule reflecting care, mindfulness and intention. The yoga sessions were truly exceptional! I felt completely supported throughout the entire retreat which left me feeling balanced and renewed every day. Beyond the mat the retreat offered fresh nourishing meals thoughtfully prepared by Toni, which that alone felt healing. The hikes and workshops were wonderful and added depth to the experience. The sense of community was powerful! The atmosphere was open, inclusive and genuinely heart centered. I formed meaningful connections that I know will last well beyond the retreat. Jayne R. CA"This was an amazing experience. I went into this retreat with no expectations because I had never experienced anything like this before. Autumn is amazing. She brings with her many different experiences and all of it comes together to make her retreats a joyful experience." "This was an amazing experience. I went into this retreat with no expectations because I had never experienced anything like this before. Autumn is amazing. She brings with her many different experiences and all of it comes together to make her retreats a joyful experience. I decided to attend this retreat because I am moving through the grief process and this helped me realize that grief will always be there but it does not have to define me. Doing yoga twice a day and then doing afternoon hikes was exactly what my body was looking for. If I wanted to move through grief, I had to get my body moving again. It has helped so much. The food was fantastic. Toni did a great job in the kitchen keeping us all fed. I know she worked very hard at her job but it paid off. Thank you Toni. If you decided to go on one of Autumn’s retreats and you go in with an open heart and mind, I promise you, you will come out differently. There were many activities to do during the days and I decided to do all of it. As long as I was there, I wanted to get as much out of the experience as I could. I am so glad I did. Thank you Autumn for sharing your gifts with us. I will be attending another retreat in the future. This was life changing for me. Thank you.

Why We Love The Field at Oak Creek
The Field at Oak Creek
Tucked onto eight quiet acres along Oak Creek, about 25 minutes from Sedona, The Field is the kind of place that does half the work for us. You’re close enough to hike the red rocks by day, far enough that at night it’s just the sound of the water and a sky full of stars. The creek runs right through the property — you can wade in to cool off after a hike, read in a chair on the bank, or sit with your feet in the water and watch the light move on the rocks. Your shoulders drop the moment you turn down the drive.
You’ll stay in a renovated creekside cabin or a room in the main house — real beds, soft bedding, and a dedicated, fully-equipped space for our morning practice.
We keep coming back to this creek for a reason. It’s home base for Rooted & Wild in Sedona — minutes from the trails that make this retreat what it is, on land that knows just what we need.

Yes — most women come on their own, and it’s one of the most common ways women do this retreat. You’ll be folded into a small group from the first evening, and by day two it rarely feels like anyone came alone. There’s also plenty of room to take quiet time whenever you want it — you’re never stuck being “on.”
No. The yoga is all-levels and accessible, with modifications offered the whole way through — plenty of first-timers come. The hikes are doable for most fitness levels, with the option to take a shorter route or rest any day. You don’t need to be fit, flexible, or experienced — just willing to show up for yourself.
