"I Want to Feel Like Me Again." A few days in the Oregon woods to rest deeply, laugh easily, and come back to life.

There’s a version of you that laughs easily. That wakes up curious. That moves through a day without bracing for the next thing. She’s not gone — she’s just buried under everything you’ve been carrying.

This is where you find her again.

Imagine a few days where nothing is required of you. You wake to birdsong inside a tipi, sun warming the canvas, coffee already brewing. Mist on the meadow as you walk to the yoga platform. Afternoons open wide — swim in the creek, nap, wander the trails, or do nothing at all. Evenings around the fire with women who get it, the kind of long, slow dinner where you laugh until your stomach hurts and lose track of time.

You leave rested, yes. But more than that — you leave alive. Reconnected to what lights you up. Trusting yourself again. Remembering that you’re allowed a life that feels this good, now — not after you’ve earned it.

For thirteen years, women have come to these Oregon woods running on empty and left this forest yoga retreat remembering who they are. This year, it’s your turn.

Is This Oregon Women's Yoga Retreat Right for You?

  • You're ready to feel like yourself again — and you want help remembering who that is
  • You want to laugh until your stomach hurts with women who actually get it — and who also know how to have fun
  • You want a few days where nothing is required of you — no alarms, no screens, no schedule to manage
  • You're craving real nature, real quiet, and real conversation
  • You want to remember what lights you up — and give yourself permission to take it seriously
  • You're ready to come back to your body, not just live in your head
  • You miss feeling like you — not the version of you everyone else needs
  • You've been thinking about it for a while

“This was the absolute perfect first-time yoga retreat. All levels of practice were welcomed, Autumn and Toni were amazing, and the food was delicious. I learned so much about myself and my practice.” — Sarah, Oregon · Back to Nature

What Makes This Oregon Yoga Retreat Different

13 years. 40+ retreats. 700+ women. This is the 13th annual Back to Nature women’s yoga retreat in Oregon — it sells out every year, often months ahead.

No influencer yoga. No posed photos. No spiritual hustle. Real women, mostly 35–60, mostly arriving solo. Real bodies, real ages, real stories.

Taught with the science underneath. Autumn teaches the nervous-system and neuroscience behind why rest works — neuroplasticity, the Reticular Activating System, regulation, and aligned action. Not magical thinking. Real practice that holds up after you go home.

Rest is the path, not the destination. You rest deeply here so you can come back to life — to laughter, to play, to whatever lights you up. You’re worthy of that now, not after the to-do list is done.

“I got my life back, my happiness, and now I have hope and confidence… and it all started with one retreat.”
— Jolee, California · Back to Nature

Picture This...

Waking up to birdsong in your cozy tipi, morning sun filtering through the trees. You step outside to coffee already brewing and make your way to the yoga platform where mist still clings to the meadow. After a gentle morning flow, you spend the afternoon swimming in the creek, journaling by the fire pit, or wandering forest trails. As evening falls, you gather with your new sisters for a farm-to-table dinner under the stars — and you realize you can’t remember the last time you felt this unhurried.

What Are the Days Actually Like During the Oregon Yoga Retreat?

A rhythm, not a schedule. We honor the natural flow of each day.

  • Slow mornings — coffee by the creek before an energizing vinyasa flow + guided meditation
  • Long, unhurried brunches — local, seasonal, made with care
  • Open afternoons — swim, hike, journal, nap, or soak in the hot tub. Nothing required.
  • Restorative evenings — gentle hatha, yin, sound healing, and yoga nidra
  • Fire circles & deep sleep — connection under the stars, then the best sleep you’ve had in months

After This Retreat, You Will...

  • Feel well-rested and recharged so you can be the best version of yourself
  • Have friendships with like-minded women who get you
  • Have tools you can actually take home (breathwork, yoga nidra, the science of aligned action)
  • Have a nervous system that remembers what regulated feels like
  • Have a clearer sense of what's been depleting you — and what to do about it
  • Have the kind of self-trust that comes from giving yourself something good — on purpose

What Past Guests Say

Hannah G. Oregon City, OR
"It's incredible that this retreat is offered at this affordable price point." "

Autumn and Toni really put their heart and soul into making this a nurturing and empowering experience. The organizers stay in touch throughout the process-- whether you have questions before booking; have dietary restrictions or special needs once you've booked; or enjoy reminders, driving directions, wellness tips, and a full information packet before the retreat. They really do make you feel valued and like family! Tipi Village is set in a delightfully rambling woodland, and the tipis are surprisingly cozy. There is a variety of yoga classes, whether you like vinyasa, roll and release, alignment workshops, sound healing, yoga nidra, restorative...there's truly something for everyone. There is also zero pressure to do anything that does not feel aligned for you. If you'd rather dip in the hot tub or the river swimming hole, journal in an Adirondack chair, stargaze, or sip tea or wine with new friends, that's all very much supported. My session also offered a spiritual component that was inclusive and welcoming for all-- featuring a community altar and a group ritual circle to close, as well as thoughtful touches like oracle cards and crystals lovingly picked out by our hosts. Oh and the gluten free blueberry pancakes are the best. (Seriously.) It's incredible that this retreat is offered at this affordable price point. One of the most distinctive aspects of the retreat is that it offers a safe space for women to come together and laugh, share, learn, and stretch in a warm, supportive environment. If that sort of community is calling you, this is a really great opportunity!

"Best of all was the guidance and support of Autumn and Toni. Thank you ladies with all of my heart!" "

I had an amazing experience. A truly magical and transformative retreat. The food was delicious and nourishing. I slept comfy and warm with the song of hooting owls in the air. Pure joy! Best of all was the guidance and support of Autumn and Toni. Thank you ladies with all of my heart!

"When I came home my friends and family asked how it was and one of the best words that came to me repeatedly was magical." "

This was my first yoga retreat and in fact my first official yoga class. I was as green as they come. My friend told me how great it was and I had always wanted to learn yoga so I signed up with her with the intention of taking classes for a few months before attending the retreat. I was a little nervous about my lack of practice and skill but decided there was no better time than now to dive in and learn. We had around 21 women in our group, every one of them was wonderful, kind, and interesting to talk to. The food was excellent and the location can't be beat. I went to every session, I wanted to get the full experience. The beds were so comfortable, a new outdoor shower was installed and it too was excellent. The property could not be more peaceful. When I came home my friends and family asked how it was and one of the best words that came to me repeatedly was magical. I have already found a local yoga studio that is close to me to continue by practice and have been practicing daily since coming back home. If you are thinking about booking a retreat with Autumn you won't regret it. You will leave a better person with more knowledge about many things but most importantly your true self. I plan to go again next year (with some refined skills) and am looking over a few other destination locations as well. Autumn and Toni are awesome teachers and I highly recommend the retreats they offer, thank you for a great first experience.

Toni became a yoga teacher in 2010, with advanced training in Therapeutic Yoga, Reiki, and shamanic practice. She teaches what yoga really is — inviting each student to find her own practice, and to understand how her body, mind, and nervous system respond in every breath, on and off the mat. Yes, and no — most women come solo. Solo attendance is the norm here, not the exception. By the second morning it rarely feels like anyone came alone. The small group makes connecting easier, not harder.

Yes — all classes are all-levels with modifications offered throughout. Women arrive at every stage, from never-been-on-a-mat to longtime practitioners, and everyone leaves feeling the sessions were right for them.

There’s no fitness or flexibility requirement. Classes are all-levels with modifications offered throughout to make postures more accessible and/or more challenging. Your afternoons are yours to move or rest as you like. Want clarity or tips for your yoga practice? We strongly encourage you to attend Toni’s Foundations of Yoga workshop, it’s so empowering.

Most guests are women between 30 and 60, arriving from all walks of life. Real ages, real bodies, real stories — no influencer crowd. Whatever stage you’re in, you’ll find women who get it. We often have women come with their daughters and mothers, so although most of our guests fall into that age bracket, we’ve had guests from young teens to 80+ year olds, and it’s always worked out.

You’re safe here, and nothing is required of you. Some women cry, some laugh until their stomachs hurt, many do both. There’s no forced sharing, no dogma, no spiritual performance — just grounded practice and real connection. Everything we share is rooted in love.

We will do our best to accommodate all dietary restrictions. Please let us know ahead of time. All meals and beverages included. May bring personal snacks if needed before morning practice.

Yes, Tipi Village has its own well and the water is fantastic. Refillable water bottle recommended.

You’re completely free to skip alcohol — many women do. Pacific Northwest wine is offered with dinner, but there’s no pressure to partake, and plenty of guests come specifically for a few days away from wine-as-unwind.

Sparkling water is also served at dinner.

Yes, specify preferred roommate on registration form.

Yes, and that’s the point. There’s no WiFi in the tipis, but you can access basic WiFi near the main house — it’s just fast enough to send a message to let your family know you arrived safely. All of the tipis have electricity.
