About Ambuja Yoga

Welcome to Ambuja Yoga

Ambuja Yoga is a women’s yoga retreat company — and, more than that, a place to come back to yourself.

We help women step out of survival mode and back to themselves — to rest, reconnect, and build lives that actually feel good. We do it through women’s yoga retreats, teacher trainings, and mentorship for the next wave of retreat leaders — rooted in time outside, real community, and a grounded understanding of how change actually happens.

Most of the women who find us are steady for everyone else and quietly worn down — not in crisis, just running on empty. Founded in 2014, Ambuja has grown into 13 years, 40+ retreats, and more than 700 women, many of whom arrived exactly that depleted and left feeling like themselves again.

What We Do

Our retreats and teacher trainings are about more than deepening your yoga practice (though you’ll do that too). They’re a chance to step away from the noise, set down what you’ve been carrying, see your life clearly, and reconnect with what you actually want. In yoga nidra, we work with sankalpa — a heartfelt intention that quietly guides the rest of your life. A few days of real rest has a way of making that intention easier to hear.

And here’s the part we most want you to know before you come: you don’t need to be a perfect, hand-standing yogi. You don’t need to know a word of Sanskrit. You don’t even need a regular practice. Come exactly as you are — we’ll take you just like that.

Why It Matters

When a woman feels rested, supported, and like herself again, it doesn’t stop with her. It reaches her kids, her relationships, her whole community. That’s the world we’re building toward — retreat by retreat, woman by woman — and it’s why we also train the next wave of retreat leaders to hold this kind of space too.

What We Believe

  • You don’t have to earn rest.
  • Joy isn’t a reward for later. It’s the whole point.
  • Come as you are — no perfection required.
  • Nature heals. So does a room full of honest women.
  • Authenticity over performance, always.
  • Transformation is real — through rest, clarity, and steady action, not magic.
  • It’s never too late, and you are not behind.
  • You are worthy of a life that feels good. Now.

These aren’t lines for a wall. They’re what every retreat is built on.
