Amelia Woods
Co-Instructor, E-RYT 500, YACEP
Amelia has been teaching yoga since 2012. Her classes are a gentle homecoming to the body and mind, built on pranayama, asana, and yoga philosophy, with real room to rest and to listen to what your body is telling you. She has taught prenatal, hatha, restorative, Yoga Nidra, and classes focused on nervous system reset.
Amelia knows Ambuja from the other side of the mat. She and Autumn met in prenatal teacher training, and she came to Back to Nature as a guest before she ever joined the team.
Her practice deepened after her first child went through a long run of medical difficulties and procedures. Anxiety became something she would live with from then on. Yoga gave her the tools to reclaim her courage, for herself and for her daughter, and to be with what was happening with more steadiness and compassion.
In class, she leads with intuition and reads what her students need. Expect Koshi chimes and other instruments, poetry, breathwork, and Yoga Nidra. Her hope is that you leave feeling more grounded, safe, and confident in your own skin.
