Portrait of Autumn Adams

Autumn Adams

Lead Instructor & Founder, E-RYT 500, YACEP

Many know me as a yoga teacher, retreat leader, and mother. But I’m more than just those roles—and so are you.

I’m Autumn Adams, and I’ve walked the same path of burnout, feeling like I had to be everything for everyone. But the truth is, you don’t need to hustle harder. You don’t need to keep putting yourself last. You don’t need to settle for a life that leaves you drained, disconnected, and unfulfilled. The life you want—the one that lights you up and makes you feel alive—isn’t out of reach. It’s right here, waiting for you to choose it.

In 2014, I founded Ambuja Yoga—not to give women an escape from life, but to help them come back to themselves. Over the past 13 years, I’ve created spaces where women can rediscover who they are—places where they can peel back the layers of “shoulds” and reconnect with what they actually want. At my retreats, you won’t just be doing yoga overlooking the beach or beside a mountain stream (although you will)—you’ll be remembering what it feels like to be fully yourself again: rested, clear, and a little more alive.

Here’s what I’ve learned: transformation doesn’t happen when you’re running on empty or constantly putting everyone else first. It happens when you choose to prioritize yourself—not as an act of selfishness, but as an act of reclaiming your life and a true act of self-love. That’s why I’ve designed my retreats to give you permission to breathe again, to trust yourself, and to let go of the expectations you’ve been carrying.

I integrate my background in dance, hatha and vinyasa yoga, yoga nidra, coaching, and mentoring to guide you through real personal exploration. My teaching isn’t just about getting you into the right poses—it’s about helping you shed old beliefs, shift from “I can’t” to “How can I?”, and meet life’s unpredictability with grace and humor. It’s also where I teach manifestation the grounded way—not magical thinking, but clarity plus aligned action: when your nervous system is settled enough to get clear on what you want, your brain starts noticing what matches it, and you take real steps toward it.

The women who attend my retreats often walk in feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, and unsure if they can ever reclaim their spark. But they leave knowing the life they crave isn’t distant or unreachable—it’s already in them, ready to come to the surface.

I’m an E-RYT 500 and YACEP, author of The Little Book of Mudra Meditations, and my work has been featured in Insider, Shape, Zappos, Asia Spa, Direct Holiday, and Bend Nest. But what matters most is what happens at the retreats themselves—40+ of them now, 700+ women—where women walk away with not just clarity and peace, but the tools to carry those into the rest of their lives.

When I’m not leading women’s retreats, you can find me hiking in the mountains, swimming in the sea, or chasing after my free-spirited little boy. I believe in living a life that feels deeply connected to nature, adventure, and, most importantly, myself—and I want the same for you.
