She teaches yoga grounded in nervous-system science: rest first, and let real change follow. During our October yoga retreat in Washington, you’ll enjoy warm, seasonal meals inspired by Ayurvedic principles – think grounding soups, kitchari bowls, roasted veggies, and nourishing herbal teas. Meals are vegetarian friendly (although animal protein will be provided for some meals), gluten-free friendly (let us know if it’s a requirement), and made with local ingredients whenever possible. We’ll ask for dietary needs in advance.
No alcohol will be served or provided. This retreat is about rest, clarity, and connection – we want to support your body and nervous system fully.
Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) is the closest major airport. From there, you can rent a car or take a shuttle to the Anacortes Ferry Terminal, then take the ferry to Friday Harbor on San Juan Island. There is also a small plane shuttle that flies to the island.
You’ll receive a full travel guide after registration. Most guests either: (1) Rent a car and drive to the Anacortes Ferry Terminal (about 2 hrs), then take a walk-on or drive-on ferry (1 hr to Friday Harbor), or (2) Take the San Juan Airlines commuter flight directly from Seattle to Friday Harbor. We’ll help coordinate ride shares if desired.
Saltwater Farm, our San Juan Island yoga retreat venue, is about a 10-minute drive from the Friday Harbor ferry dock. Clear directions will be provided.
Check-in is between 4:00-5:00 PM on Thursday, October 23, and check-out is by 11:00 AM on Sunday, October 26.
